Kurtis Bell brings back the sound of yesterday with a new flair.

A specialist in American Roots Rock’n’Roll, he taught himself to play piano at the age of ten, later teaching himself guitar.

At age 22, Kurtis appeared on American Idol's Landmark Twentieth Season.

His list of other performances include appearances at the Texas Music Hall of Fame, and the 25th Annual Deep Ellum Art and Music Festival.

Born in Hollywood, his artistry began with his upbringing in Texas and Louisiana, where local musical influences inspired him to become a performer himself. Now in Dallas, Kurtis is an entertainer at heart, and perhaps his greatest draw is his showmanship.

Kurtis loves to excite his audience above all else, and won't stop until every person in the crowd is having just as much fun as he is. His energy is like electricity in the air of every show.
